Summer Internships for students in ISI Kolkata:
1st year students of different courses are available for internships during their summer break which generally starts after completion of their 2nd semester examination (around 10th of May) and continues till their third semesters begins. The duration of the internship varies from course to course as follows.
- M. Stat. (Master of Statistics) Kolkata and Chennai centers : 8 weeks
- M.S. QE (M. S. in Quantitative Economics) - Kolkata : 8 weeks
- M.Tech. CS (Computer Science) - Kolkata : 11 weeks
- M.Tech. QROR (Quality Reliability & Operations Research) - Kolkata: 11 weeks in 1st Year & six months (January - June) in 2nd Year.
Process: For all courses, interested companies are requested to send the duly filled in summer internship form (SIF) by email to plccom@isical.ac.in. The companies can visit the campus and interview students for internship, or have telephonic interviews for summer internships. Based on the interest of the students, a mutually convenient date for the visit will be fixed. The student representatives and the placement convener will be in touch with you for finalizing the dates. We would strongly recommend avoiding weekdays for the visits in order to ensure no conflict with the classes.
